Profetas/Prophets

Hoy quiero hablar sobre los profetas. Siempre desde Adan, Dios ha llamado profetas para testificar de su Hijo Jesucristo y como 'El es El Salvador y Redentor del mundo. Los Profeta guiaron la Iglesia y la gente con el Sacerdocio que les conecto con Dios directamente. Aun que habia tiempos cuando no habia un profetas, Dios siempre llamo' un otro profeta para ayudar a sus hijos en la tierra a saber de Cristo y su Evangelio. Cuando la Iglesia de Jesucristo se restauro' Dios llamo' a Jose' Smith para ser el Profeta y guiar la Iglesia y los miembros. Y como los tiempos antiguos Dios llamo' un otro Profeta despues de la muerte de Jose' Smith y lo mismo despues de la muerte de cada profeta. Hoy en dia tenemos un Profeta vivente se llama Thomas S. Monson y 12 apostoles como Cristo tenia en La Iglesia Primativa. Yo estoy agradacida que mi Padre Celestial nos ama que El llama los Profetas para guiarnos y ayudarnos. Cuando escuchamos de los consejos del Profeta y su apostles, y seguimos, seguimos a Cristo. Por-que Cristo habla por medio de sus Profetas. Yo he sido bendicida mucho en mi vida por medio del Profeta. Este fin de semana Todo El Mundo tendra' la oportunidad de escuchar del Profeta, los apostoles y los otros lideres de La Iglesia quien son llamados por Dios. En sabado y domingo el 2 y 3 de abril a las 11am y 3pm (Tiempo Central/9am y 1pm Tiempo Pacifico) es cuando las sessions de La Conferencia General ( es que le llamamos como miembros de la Iglesia, la Conferencia cuando el Profeta y apostoles, y los otros lideres generales de la Iglesia hablan al mundo y los miembros de la Iglesia) Quiero Invitar a todos a escuchar al Profeta en La Conferencia General. Today I want to talk about Prophets. Since Adam God has always called Prophets to testify of His Son Jesus Christ y how He is the Savior and Redeemer of the world. The Prophets guide the Church and the people with the Priesthood that connects them directly with God. Even though there had been times when there were no prophets, God always called another Prophet to help his children in teh earth to know of Christ and his Gospel. When the Church of Jesus Christ was restored God called Joseph Smith to be the Prophet and guide the Church and the members. And like the ancient times God called another prophet after the death of Joseph Smith and the same after the death of the each prophet. Today we have a living Prophet, Thomas S. Monson and Twelve apostles like Christ had in the Primative Church. I am grateful the my Heavenly Father loves me and that he calls the Prophets to guide us and help us. When we listen to the council of the Prophet and his apostles and we follow them we follow Christ. Because Christ speaks through his Prophets. I have been blessed a lot in my life through the Prophet. This weekend the Whole World will have the opportunity to listen to the Prophet the apostles and the other leaders of the the Chruch who are called by God. Saturday and Sunday April 2 and 3rd at 11am and 3pm (Central time/ 9am and 1pm Pacific Time) is when will be the session of General Conference(it is what we as members of the chruch call it, the conference when the Prophet, Apostles and the other General Leaders of the Chruch speak to the world and the members of teh Chruch) I want  to invite all to listen to the prophet in General Conference. El Sacerdocio/ The Priesthood

Uno de los grandes bendiciones de la restauracio'n de La Iglesia de Jesucristo es que el mismo poder y autoridad que Cristo tenia para sanar los infermos, bendecir la gente, bautizar y dar el Don del Espiritu Santo fue restaurado. El sacerdocio es solo en La Iglesia de Jesucristo de Los Santos de Los U'ltimos Di'as. El sacerdocio esta econtrado en todos los hombres digos de La Iglesia. quiero compartir este video que es por un apostol de Dios que habla a cerca de los bendiciones del Sacerdocio. Yo quiero compartir como yo he sido bendicido por el sacerdocio, es algo que estoy agradacida para tener en mi vida. Mi padre siempre tenia el sacerdocio cuando you crecia, y siempre yo podia pedirle para darme una bendicion de consuelo o de salud, y E'l me dio. Y es por medio de nuestra fe como Cristo enseno, que sanamos. El Sacerdocio es algo que alguien puede sentir de los hombres dignos que lo tienen, es una espiritu muy bonito y fuerte especialmente cuando un hombre digno actua con el Sacerdocio. Dios ha restaurado El sacerdocio para bendecir a todos sus hijos y ayudarles a regresar a El. 

One of the greatest blessings of the restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ is that the same power and authority that Christ had to heal the sick, bless the people, baptize and give the Gift of the Holy Ghost was restored. The Priesthood is only in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. The priesthood is found in the worthy men of the church and is found in their homes, it is something Christ has given to bless all of his children. I want to share how I have been blessed by the priesthood, it is something that I am grateful to have in my life. My Father always had the priesthood as I grew up and I always could ask him to give me a blessing of comfort or health and he would give it to me. It is through our faith as Christ taught that we are healed. The Preisthood is something that can be felt from the worthy men who hold it, and the spirit that is felt is wonderful and strong, especially when a worthy man acts in the name of God with the Preisthood. God has restored the Priesthood to bless all his children and help them to return to him.

La Familia/Family

Uno de los grandes bendiciones en la Iglesia Restaurada es la Familia. La Iglesia se centre en Jesucristo y enfocamos en las familias. Es cuando fundamos nuestras familias en las doctrinas y el evangelio de Jesucristo que encontremos la felicidad eterna. Nuestro Padre Celestial nos da nuestros familias para crecer en la felicidad y amor. La Iglesa que se conducta por medio de un profeta viviente se enfoca en fortelecer las familias, y cuando seguimos las ensenanzas del Profeta y sus apostoles, encontremos un grand bendcion, una familia enterna. Las familias son lo mas importante en este vida y la vida venidera, entonces, aun que la vida (especialmente con nuestras familias) no es lo mas facil, en la Igesia Restaurada podamos recibir la guia de Nuestro Padre Celestial para ayudarnos. Yo se' que es solo por medio de esa Iglesia y Jesucristo que podamos tener una familia eterna, y que podamos tener una famila mas feliz y unida. Mi famila ha sido bendecida mucho por medio de la Iglesia. Encontramos la guia por medio del profeta y las escrituras, y mas que todo fue por que mis padres siguieron las ensenazas del Evangelio Restaurado y ellos poneron nuestra familia primero que nuestra familia vencieron los preubas en nuestra vida.

One of the greastest blessings en the Restored Church is the family. The church is centered in Jesus Christ and we focus in the families. It is when we found our familias in the doctrines and gospel of Jesus Christ that we find the eternal happiness. Our Heavenly Father gives us our families to grow up in happiness and love. The Church which is conducted through a living Prophet and focuses en strengthening families and when we faollow the teachings of the Prophet and his Apostles we find the greatest blessing, an enternal family. The familes are the most important in this life and in the next life, and so even though life (especially with our families) is not the easiest, in the Restored Church we can recieve the guidance of our Heavenly Father to help us. I know that it is only through the Chruch and Jesus Christ that we can have an eternal family and that we can have a happier and more united family. My family has been blessed a lot throught the Church. We found the guidance through the prophet and the scriptures, and most of all because my parents followed the teachings of the Restored Gospel and they put our family first that our family overcame the trials in our life.

La Luz de Cristo en Nuestros Vidas

Ha noche mi companera y yo teniamos una experiencia muy bonita que quiero compartir algunos pensamientos sobre este experiencia.
En las ultimas semanas, estabamos visitando una familia que es "menos-activo" quien no han assitido la Iglesia por mucho tiempo. Ellos se llama La Familia Luis. Hemos visitado ellos mucho, y mas que todo la mama y su hijo de 10 anos, que no es bautizado. Habia una gran cambio en esta familia, especialmente en la Mama. Cuando le vistamos ha noche ella dijo mucho de su experiencia como ella y su esposo se bautizo y el tiempo cuando no eran activos, y ahora como ella tiene esta firmeza para assitir la Iglesia todo los domingos y ser activa con su familia. Tambien ella le dio su testimonio ha noche en la casa de su cunado en frente de su suegra y el tio de su esposo quien no son miembros. El Espiritu estaba alli y Yo se que todos le sientieron. Ahora ella tiene mas luz en sus ojos y nos dijo que esta leyendo en El Libro de Mormon un poco cada dia, y esta leyendo a su esposo en las noches.
Esto es en que yo pensaba mucho ha noche cuando yo estaba dormiendo. Como todos podemos tener mas de este luz en nuestros vidas. Empezo con las pulseras que yo tengo de mi sobrino. Las pulseras salen luz cuando hay oscuridad pero no pueden salir luz si no ven la luz primero. Yo pensaba en como eso es como nuestra vidas espiritualmente. Si no leimos en el Libro de Mormon y las escrituras, no oramos, o no assitimos la Iglesia verdadera, no recibimos la luz de Cristo para mostrar el mundo quien esta en la oscuridad. Entonces, como mis pulseras y la mama de esta familia, necestimos obedecer los mandamientos de Dios para que el mundo puede ver nuestra luz.
Yo quiero compartir mi testimonio que yo se que El Libro de Mormon es verdadero, y que Esta Iglesia es La Iglesia Verdadera de Cristo, la unica verdadera. Yo se que cuando seguimos a Jesucristo, y que el nos mostro, recibiremos esta luz de Cristo y mas de sus bendiciones.

El Libro De Mormon y La Biblia

Un cosa que casi siempre viene en nuestros lecciones como misioneras es la differencia y la relacion entre El Libro de Mormon y La Biblia.
A veces personas piensen que el Libro de Mormon replace la Biblia, pero esto no es verdadero. El Libro de Mormon es un otro testamento de Jesucristo, es mas escritura sagrada de nuestro Padre Celestial, no replace la Biblia pero mas que todo, los dos apoyen uno a otro.

En el Libro de Mormon encontramos la misma doctrina que Cristo enseno en Jerusalen, pero fue ensenado por medio de sus profetas en las Americas Antiguas. El Libro de Mormon habla a cerca de los otros ovejas de Cristo. Por medio del Libro de Mormon y La Biblia podemos saber que es el camino correcto para volver a vivir con nuestro Padre Celestial y nuestros familias para siempre. Nuestro Padre Celestial nos dio el Libro de Mormon para testificar de que La misma Iglesia que Jesuscristo establicio ha sido restaurado.

Tambien es por medio del Libro de Mormon y la oracion que uno pueda saber por si mismo la veracidad de nuestro mensaje como misioneros y miembros de La Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de Los Ultimos Dias.
Yo se por mi misma que El Libro de Mormon es un otro testimento de Jesuscristo que testifica de El y de su sacrificio, como El es mi Salvador y Redentor y El sufrio todo mis dolores y pecados.

Something I love

Something I love as a missionary is being able to see the lives of people change as they accept and apply the teachings of Jesus Christ and his restored Gospel. I've seen it happen a few times and everytime it fills me with such great joy, I can't even really explain it. One thing in particular on this note that I especially love is seeing families who were once "in-active" meaning that they have not been to church in a long time and sometimes not following and obeying the commandments, become "re-activated" meaning, they come back to church and start to obey God's commandments.
One story in particular is about a family that I have had the chance to know and teach, we'll call them for identity's sake the Alex Family. This family had recently been re-activated when I came to the area I'm in now. This family is amazing. They have 8 kids. They were baptized some years ago, and for about a year or more they had not been to church. But recently had started to come back to church. One of their children my companion and I had the chance to teach this past month who was baptized. It was amazing to me to see this family work together as their son prepared to be baptized. The family united more and now is one of the happiest famlies I have seen.
And now we are meeting with the Dad's brother and sister in law who are also less active and have a son who also wants to be baptized. It has been amazing for me to see as this family has started to read in the scriptures more and pray as a family, to see the light in their eyes grow and their desire to return to the fold of God grow.
The reason why I share this experience about less active families is because my parents were once in active. Thankfully they decided to become active before my siblings and I were born, and so we were all raised in the true chruch of Jesus Christ. But as I have been here on my mission, my parents have shared with me their stories of being in active and re-activating. My Dad was in active for 25 years of his life, my mom for about 10. I had always known there was a time when they were not doing what was right, but never knew how much it has affect who I am and who they are. My parents have been such examples to me of how real the atonement of Jesus Christ is, that no matter what we do, we can always repent and come closer to our Savior. I saw how through this knowledge they gained from re-activating, brought us through the hard times and made us stronger as a family. I am grateful for the examples of my parents on how they showed me the straight and narrow path, and have led the way. I love helping those who have lost their way find it again through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and through Repentence. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior and my Redeemer and that it is only through him and his Restored Gospel that we can return to live with our Heavenly Father.

Bienvenida a mi Blog. Estoy agradacida por esta oportunidad de compartir mis experiencias y mis creencias como una misionera de La Iglesia de Jesucristo de Los Santos de Los Ultimos Dias. Aqui hablare a cerca de lo que yo hago aqui como una misionera y tambien a cerca del Evangelio de Jesucristo restaurado y como por medio de esto podemos vencer cual quiera cosa y tener la felicidad enterna. Voy a escribir en los dos idiomas para que todos pueden entender. (espero que si)

Welcom to my Blog. I am grateful for this opportunity to share my experiences and my beliefs as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Here I will talk/write about what I do as a missionary and also about the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and how through it we can overcome whatever comes into our lives and have eternal happiness. I will write in both languages (English and Spanish) so that everyone can understand. (I hope so)
